Default The Perfect Ritualist/Elem build?

Ok, once I was doing a mission on Cantha, and we had a ritualist on our team. He claimed to have the perfect Ritualist/Elemental build. I didnt think there could be a perfect build, but in the end I was proven wrong. We got mobbed by tons of afflicted, everyone in our party died except him. However, the odd catch was, he was still getting mobbed by afflicted, and somehow held out without losing more than half his health. Does anyone know a strong build like that? He said he used Earth as his second element, but he wouldnt tell me the build. I dont know how he did it, cus I know I'm not a noob at the game or anything, cus most of the time I'm the last one alive. This guy was crazy though, he just never died. I dont know how he did it, but he had a build set up that obviously kept him from losing too much energy, and obviously helped make him immune to some of the damage against him and then somehow had a healing spell that was easy to cast. Can anyone help me out here? He told me he was a channeling/Earth build, but he wouldnt let me know the spells. I cant figure it out on my own because all my builds I can think of have a flaw. Is there such thing as a perfect Channeling/Earth build? and if so what is it? Thanks

ok, first off, there are no perfect builds. not with any class or any combinations.

as for his build, id bet he was using some combo of stoneflesh aura plus armor of earth or kinetic to tank. on a side note though, being the last one alive isnt an accomplishment or even a good thing. any class can slap some skills together and form a tanking build. why you would do this, i have no idea, but some people think its cool to be able to survive while your whole team dies. notice how your team still died. fat lot of good his super tanking build did ya. would have been better off bringing enough fire power to kill the enemy before they killed you. or bring some support to keep the rest of the team alive so they could kill the enemy.

survivability is worthless if you cant kill anything or keep your team alive.

what the poster above said is true.
just because he survives doesnt mean hes got the perfect build.
if he cant kill anything then whats the point of staying alive?

He mighta been using VwK, vengeful weapon, and stuff; that could neutralize the damage that comes through stoneflesh aura and armor of earth/kinetic.

Earth spells for armor.
Caretaker's Charge and an Item spell for the healing.

If I were to hazard one out...? Stoneflesh Armor, Obsidian Flesh, Armor of Earth, Cruel was Daoshen, Caretaker's Charge, other stuff. 12+1+3 Channeling, 12 Earth Magic.

That might work. Won't be good for much other than staying alive, but you could certainly stay alive for a while and make a semi-poor backup healer.
